Introduction

In this blog I am going to examine Coca-cola and why it is so popular. I mean, you only need to look around any cafe or restaurant to see the amount of people with coke bottles or glasses in front of them. I will look at the ingredients in Coca-cola, and compare it to some other soft drinks and the much-loved coffee. I will also look at how much of Coca-cola's appeal lies in it's image, and how much is content.




I will focus on these three questions:
Is Coca-cola more addictive than coffee and other soft drinks?
What makes Coca-cola more popular than Pepsi, Fanta and sprite?
Should Coca-cola be classed in the same group as cigarettes?
